Tenerife - Dream Gran Tacande Hotel Review
Flight to Somewhere rating:
The pool area and view towards the sea
The service was very friendly, from the reception to the restaurant to the spa. And speaking of the spa - definitely worth a visit. You get one free entrance, but there's an option to upgrade which includes daily entrance to the spa and 15 minutes massage. We didn't go for it because we were out all the time, but I think next time we go back, we'll definitely take it. There are different pools, showers, saunas and a relaxation room. My skin was literally glowing after the visit.
The lobby definitely has the wow effect - I loved the architectural style! There's even a small cinema in the hotel - Madagascar 3 was on one night.
The location is great - a lovely beach is right on the doorstep, plus it's in an upmarket neighbourhood and Plaza del Duque shopping centre with great boutiques is next door.

Dream Gran Tacande is a 5-star hotel in the Costa Adeje area of Tenerife. Stayed in this hotel for a week on half board. The room was huge - standard rooms are 40 sq metres. There was a bathtub and a separate shower and two sinks.
If you are considering whether to go B&B or HB, I urge you to go HB - the food is really lovely. Every night there's a choice of 4-5 types of fish and 4-5 types of meat that you can have prepared for you on the hot plate, and it's absolutely delicious. The cook who works on that stand is also very friendly. Apart from that, there's a wide selection of ham and cheese, Chinese, sushi and lots more, all extremely good.
